Ya’ll! It is all becoming very real.
Between the Nashville musicians laying down their tracks, recording vocals in the Atlanta area, and JUST getting the orchestra strings recorded this month… Sound of Revival is coming together in the most incredible way. Everything is currently being mixed, background vocals are still needed, and then it all goes to mastering. You are going to hear this EP before summer. I am so incredibly excited.
I want to share a few photos from the three different recording processes because this journey has been something I will never forget.
The Nashville Session The musicians on these tracks are world class. The drummer? He also recorded on Jelly Roll’s album. Like what?! The bass player? Taylor Swift’s. I mean ya’ll. The level of talent that went into this record is just humbling.
The Atlanta Vocals Getting into the studio and laying down my vocals was one of the most meaningful experiences of this whole process. Hearing the songs come alive with my voice on them pretty much feels unreal.
The Orchestra Strings They are incredible. I got to listen live as the strings were recorded and I may have cried a little. The way they wrap around the one song is going to give you chills.
